Donation Ceremony of Mr. Zheng Jin-Tai's Paintings Held at The College of Business, National Taipei University

    The College of Business at NTPU held a unique painting donation ceremony on the afternoon of 19 June 113 in the Liangmao Lecture Hall. Renowned painter Mr. Zheng Jin-Tai generously donated three exquisite ink paintings to the College of Business of National Taipei University, including “Jade Mountain Rui Cai”, “Smoke and Clouds on Huangshan Mountain”, and “Sunrise on Turtle Mountain.”

    Of the three paintings, “Jade Mountain Rui Cai,” and “Smoke and Clouds on Huangshan Mountain” will be displayed in Liangmao Lecture Hall, while “Sunrise on Turtle Mountain” will be hung in the office of the College of Business. The donation was made possible thanks to the introduction of Mr. Liang Shi-An, former Dean of the College, who made it possible for Mr. Zheng to donate these works of artistic value to the College.

The E-Business Centre of the College of Business of National Taipei University held a grand opening ceremony!

    In order to promote the signing of an industry-academia cooperation project between the College of Business of National Taipei University and ABC Taiwan Electronics Corp. to apply the concept of Metaverse, the College of Business of NTPU with the financial support of ABC Taiwan Electronics Corp. has been refurbished and renovated the E-Business Centre. The opening ceremony of the E-Business Centre was held on 19 June 113 at 2:00 pm on the third floor of the Business Building.

    During the implementation of the project, the College of Business of NTPU will build a bridge between industry and academia by organising regular research conferences to actively explore the metaverse market and new business opportunities. We will encourage faculty members of the School of Business to apply for projects on metaverse-related topics, and will sign a project agreement with ABC Taiwan Electronics Corp. to provide additional research funding support, which includes:

1. "5G Campus Private Network Establishment Project", with Prof Huai-Sheng Huang as the project leader.
2. The "Greater Thousand Dollar Cosmic Value Community Project" project, with Prof Chia-Chang Tsai as the project leader.
3. "AI Multi-Modal Cross-Language Task-Oriented Dialogue System for the Metaverse" by Prof. Min-Yuh Day.

    In addition, ABC Taiwan Electronics Corp. and Prof. Nan-Cheng Su have promoted quality management related industry-academia collaboration projects, and several industry-academia collaboration projects with the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (SEIT) are in progress, which have made significant contributions to the university.

Dean Yu-Shan Chen presented a gift to Mr. Ming-En Xu, Chairman of ABC Taiwan Electronics Corp.

Delegation from Virginia State University College of Engineering and Technology Visited the College of Business, National Taipei University

    A delegation from Virginia State University (VSU), comprising Professor Dawit Haile, Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology and Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Joon Suk Lee, Chair of the Department of Computer Science, and Dr. Wei-Bang Chen, Director of the Master of Science in Computer Science Programme and Associate Professor, visited The College of Business, NTPU, on 19 June 113. Accompanied by Dr. Wen Yean-Fu, Director of the Graduate Institute of Information Management and Professor Day Min-Yuh, Professor of the Graduate Institute of Information Management.

    The three special guests came to witness the opening ceremony of the E-Commerce Research Centre. After the ceremony, the delegation of Virginia State University went to the office of the College of Business to have an in-depth discussion and exchange on inter-institutional co-operation.

On 11 december 112, President Chen-Jia Lee led Vice-President Dar-Hsin Chen (also director of the alumni centre), president of oia, Thijs Velema, president of college of business Yu-Shan Chen, former director of the alumni centre Hui-Ping Cheng, vice president of department of business administration Hsu-Tung Lee, and commissioner of the office of department of business administration Ni-Shan Wu, to the ABICO Group to visit to our outstanding alumni, namely, president Dong, Jiong-Xiong (founder of the ABICO Group), and his singaporean alumnus and close friend, president Chen, Cang-Gu, to see the chairman of TMI Group. In recognition of the importance that his alma mater attaches to the learning environment, he donated $6 million and pledged to continue the donation for the next five years. Thanks to the generous support of our seniors, we have more resources to participate in international exchange platforms, expand opportunities for student education exchanges, and develop overseas enrolment and co-operation agreements, which will not only allow our students to have more opportunities to go abroad, but will also attract outstanding students to come to the school and create a more complete internationalised environment.
